I work at this program that has varirous themes tat revolve their show. This year it’s 50’s music. I need to know of songs that 7-10 year olds can sing.
I also would like to know if anyone has any suggestions on where I can buy cheap authentic looking poodle skirts for girls of 7-10 year old
Call it "At the Hop" and lead with that song.
Listen to the "American Graffiti" albums, or "Grease" for ideas.
Poodle skirts are from the era where a LOT of dresses were homemade. If anyone still knows how to use a sewing machine, the patterns probably are easier to find than ready made dresses.

Definitely look into Grease (though some of the more upbeat music can be inappropriate lyrically) and Bye Bye Birdie. As for poodle skirts, I agree with the above answer. If this is for a one time show, go buy yards and yards of different colored felts (it’s cheap and way easy to piece together). There should be a whole mess of poodle skirt patterns at the fabric stores, and they’re really easy to make. Don’t forget to get lots of white felt to cut out and paste poodles on with!
