Yes thats ok Just … Yes thats ok Just make sure you can change the Genre on the Harddrive, The when you add a folder to Itunes you would pull it from, the Harddrive folder, also make sure you create Music Folder on the Hd Dr.

Great guide. It looks like iTunes Smart playlists are the way forward at the moment as long as the torq browser continues to suck.
I’d add to it though….
1. Use Media Monkey for organising and tagging your tunes. It is much better than windows explorer.
2. Use itunes library updater so that iTunes will have a folder watch utility. Then new files will be automatically brought into iTunes.
3. Use lastripper……… if that is your thing.
