Like to listen to music you have to go offline to windows media center on xbox and all that bullshit. I want to know if or how i can listen to the music WHILE playing a game on my xbox?
you can download cds you have onto your xbox and then you can play it while your playing a game by accessing it from the xbox live guide and it barely takes up memory
What do the genres you listen to say about you? You know, I mean for example, If you listen to let’s say perhaps rap, or even alternative, what would that say about you, as a person? Or maybe about your personality?
Depending on who you are, how you have grown up, what your beliefs are, who you love, who you dislike, where you’ve been and what you’ve done, certain artistic offerings — art, music, literature, theater, dance and on and on — will resonate within you, as though sounding a bell or setting off an alarm for something that was waiting quietly all that time for the slightest hint of acknowledgment.
As you become more experienced in seeking out and processing works of art in your life, and as the creative works in your life accumulate, you come to realize there are many "sides" to you and that "who you are" keeps growing every day.
No, that won’t make you any easier to retrofit into some category invented by a pop psychologist, but that just means other people have to drop their scripts and DEAL with you.
Good luck and best wishes.
I think a while ago I read something about people who listen to music more than the lyrics tend to be ______________. ANd people who listen to lyrics more than the music tend to be ____________.
Basically, I am curious if anyone knows if there is any inate in the persons tendencies based on what you prefer to focus on in a song.
I’m guessing the answer you seek is left/right brained people.
But I don’t see any evidence supporting this.
The things I read about left/right brained people and their associations with music say things like:
-left brained people prefer classical over right brained people
-right brained people prefer rock over left brained people
-left brained people have a harder time studying with music on
-right brained people can memorize music more easily
-left brained people respond better to verbal instructions
-right brained people respond better to visual instructions

When I first got into metal, it was one of the few genres I would even touch. Nowadays, I hardly listen to it, prefering other subgenres of metal over it.
So, how many of you still listen to Heavy Metal regularly?
Favorite HM band?
If you mean heavy metal as in traditional heavy metal, then very rarely. I still listen to Judas Priest and Black Sabbath, as well as a few of the other classic bands, but I prefer subgenres, such as ambient black metal or technical death metal, or folk metal.
What would be a good audiobook to listen to while running?

I’m doing a paper and I wanted some outsider input. How does what we listen to affect what we do? Does listening to music like Slipknot really provoke murders or is this just a convenient scapegoat?
lol i am listening to music from india right now , doesnt mean i will open my third eye and start dancing funny as i listen to it ? lol no
hmmm i think it depends pretty much of the state of the mind of each individual and the intentions as well , some listen to music to relax others to get happy others to let their rage out , or meditate and others to identify with the lyrics and dont feel alone in their situation
for example someone who went through a breakup will listen to breakup songs to feel that someone else went through the same as well and either dwell in the pain or let it all out
its all about options no lyrics in a song can make anyone do anything they dont really want to do unless they are really gullible !
BUT it has been proved in certain experiment that if you repeatably listen to songs with a bad meaning and concept to them you may adopt that kind of attitude , rap songs with a lot of bad words can be a bad inffuence in young people who identify with the getto audience , same with rockers and satanic stuff , if they take it too seriously they may take it to the next level as well
I listen to my ipod about 1 and a half hours a day, and i have been since 2005.I don’t listen to it full blast but if i’m walking then it will be quite high. I’m 15. When will my hearing start to be affected?
